To mark the centenary of the birth of two major figures in jazz, Miles Davis and John Coltrane, M.G. Art invites you to an exceptional evening with the Jultrane Sextet.
Presented as part of the 4th edition of the Château en Musique festival, this concert pays tribute to two visionary artists whose creativity, boldness and influence continue to inspire generations.
This jazz evening will bring the festival to a close in the enchanting setting of the courtyard of the Château de La Napoule.
A tribute to two giants of jazz
Both born in 1926, Miles Davis and John Coltrane worked together during a pivotal period in the history of jazz. Through their constant search for new musical horizons, they profoundly transformed the genre and left a lasting mark on 20th-century jazz.
The Jultrane Sextet revisits several of their iconic works with sensitivity and freedom, including So What, All Blues, Syeeda’s Song Flute and Blue Train.
Combining energy, improvisation and musical dialogue, the performers revive the spirit of innovation that inspired these two major figures in jazz.
In the unique atmosphere of the Château de La Napoule, where heritage, art and openness to the world come together, this evening promises a moving shared experience, carried by the timeless power of jazz.

A raised stage and six loudspeakers will provide the audience with good visibility and a high-quality listening experience.
Visitors will be able to explore the Château gardens before the concert.
Parking: several free car parks are available in the evening, including the large Siagne car park, located approximately a 10-minute walk from the Château.
CDs will be available to purchase after the concert and may be signed by the artists.

A box office may be available on the evening of the concert, subject to availability. Payment can only be made in cash or by cheque.
