La Napoule Art Foundation welcomes composer and sound artist Simon Leoza for a meeting-performance exploring the site’s sonic memory.

Invited in residence, the artist investigates the Château’s resonances by reinterpreting musical materials and engaging with the acoustic qualities of its spaces. Blending research and creation, he develops a sensitive approach where past and present intersect.

This event offers an immersive insight into his creative process, combining presentation, performance, and exchange with the audience.

Learn more about the artist – Simon Leoza

Simon Leoza is a composer and multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the relationships between music, image, and interactivity. Through his projects, he develops immersive narrative forms in which sound becomes a vehicle for experience and perception.

He is notably the composer of the soundtrack for the series Empathie (broadcast on Canal+), and regularly collaborates on international film and audiovisual projects. His practice lies at the intersection of musical composition, artistic research, and sonic experimentation.

His current research focuses on how music can interact with spaces and narratives, incorporating archives, reinterpretation, and contemporary creation. At the Château de La Napoule, he explores the site’s sonic memory, engaging with its past and present resonances.
