Artists in residence at La Napoule share their experience — a dialogue between introspection, creation, and resonance with the place.

At the Château de La Napoule, each residency is a unique weaving of place, time, and voice.
Here, between sea and memory, artists come to settle, to confront, to transform. Some continue a work already in gestation, others begin a new creative cycle. The rhythm of the waves, the light filtering through the towers, the silent presence of stone — everything becomes a source of inspiration.
This page gathers their voices: journal fragments, process notes, sparks of gratitude, and studio confidences. These sincere testimonies trace the outlines of what residency makes possible — a rare space-time where artistic momentum unfolds, protected, nurtured, and celebrated.
To listen to these voices is to step into the intimacy of creation. It is to feel the Château resonate with the breath of those who inhabit it.
And far beyond the Château walls, these voices continue to live and resonate. Each residency weaves connections that stretch across borders, disciplines, and time — forming a living, supportive, and inspiring community, united by the shared experience of La Napoule.
