As part of OVNi Biennale 2026, dedicated to the moving image, Quebec-based artist Jacinthe Loranger returns to the Château de La Napoule one year after her artist residency.

From November 15 to 29, 2026, discover a video installation that builds on the research she began at the Château, alongside several works created on site in 2025.

Drawing inspiration from Henry Clews’ sculptures and the Château’s archives, Jacinthe Loranger brings historical imagery, medieval illuminations, and contemporary digital culture into dialogue. Blending humor, the grotesque, and fantasy, she reimagines the Château’s history and visual world through a distinctive universe where fiction meets the uncanny.

More broadly, her practice explores the construction of beliefs, the circulation of images, and emerging digital mythologies. Working across drawing, ceramics, video, and artificial intelligence, she brings together references from different periods and cultures to question our relationship with images and the narratives that shape our perception of the world.
