As part of the 4^th edition of the Château en Musique festival, organized by M.G. Art, discover a musical creation presented as a world premiere in the courtyard of the Château de La Napoule.

Les 4 Saisons sensorielles – The Vivaldi Experience offers an immersive rediscovery of Antonio Vivaldi’s celebrated Four Seasons, placed in their historical, dramaturgical and sensory context.

An immersion into Vivaldi’s world

Venice, early 18^th century. Antonio Vivaldi arrives at the Ospedale della Pietà, an institution renowned throughout Europe for the excellence of its musical education for girls. There, he trained an ensemble of young orphaned virtuoso musicians, the famous figlie di coro.

During concerts, these musicians often performed behind grilles or screens, giving rise to the poetic image of a “concert of invisible angels”.

It was within this unique world, where music, space and emotion intertwine, that The Four Seasons were born in 1725. To accompany each concerto, Vivaldi wrote a sonnet evoking the scenes heard in his music: birdsong, storms, wind, fire and the murmurs of nature.

Readings of the sonnets, spatialized sound, lighting and subtle soundscapes accompany the listening experience, inviting the audience into the very heart of the music.

More than a concert, this creation invites audiences to experience Vivaldi from within, in a living, poetic and deeply human musical experience.

A raised stage and six speakers will provide good visibility and a high-quality listening experience for the audience.

Visitors will be able to explore the Château gardens before the concert.

Parking: several free car parks are available in the evening, including the large Siagne car park, located about a 10-minute walk from the Château.

Tickets may be available on the evening of the concert, subject to availability. Payment by cash or cheque only.

The organizing association will not be able to refund tickets. Insurance may be purchased via Weezevent.
