European Heritage Days 2026

Sunday 20 September 2026, from 10 am to 5 pm

To mark the European Heritage Days, the Château de La Napoule will open its doors to the public free of charge on Sunday 20 September 2026.

Throughout the day, discover the remarkable history of the Château and its creators, Henry and Marie Clews, explore the gardens and enjoy the final days of the temporary exhibition Mise en abyme.

In the morning, three guided tours will be available by reservation. In the afternoon, visitors will be able to explore the interior of the Château independently, while the gardens and exhibition will remain open continuously from 10 am to 5 pm.

Guided tours of the Château

In the morning, three guided tours will introduce visitors to the history of the Château de La Napoule, its gardens and the artist couple who shaped it into the remarkable place it is today.

• Times: 10:30 am, 11 am and 11:30 am
• Duration: approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour
• Admission: free
• Access: advance booking required

The guided tours will be conducted in French. Written English translations will be available at reception.

Places are limited. Advance booking is required to take part in the morning guided tours.

Self-guided visit of the Château

The interior of the Château will be open free of charge for self-guided visits from 2 pm to 5 pm, with no reservation required.

This is an opportunity to explore at your own pace the interiors of the Château shaped by Henry and Marie Clews during the first half of the 20^th century.

The site will exceptionally close at 5 pm.

Gardens and Mise en abyme exhibition

The Château gardens will be open freely and free of charge from 10 am to 5 pm.

Visitors will also be able to discover the temporary exhibition Mise en abyme, bringing together works by artists Erin LeAnn Mitchell and Kaitlyn Tucek, presented in the Galerie Blanche.

The exhibition and gardens will be open continuously from 10 am to 5 pm, with no reservation required.

Food on site

To make the most of the day, the Zand Foodies food truck will be on site, serving Lebanese food to enjoy in the setting of the Château gardens.

• 10 am – 5 pm: free access to the gardens and the Mise en abyme exhibition

Parking: several public car parks are available near the Château, including the Siagne car park, located approximately a 10-minute walk away.

Please arrive at the Château reception desk 10 minutes before the scheduled start of your tour. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, access to the guided tour cannot be guaranteed.
