SUMMARY:Château en Musique – 4th edition : Les 4 Saisons sensorielles – The Vivaldi Experience
DESCRIPTION:Château en Musique – 4th edition \n\nLes 4 Saisons sensorielles – The Vivaldi Experience\nMonday\, July 20\, 2026 at 9:00 PM \nAs part of the 4th edition of the Château en Musique festival\, organized by M.G. Art\, discover a musical creation presented as a world premiere in the courtyard of the Château de La Napoule. \nLes 4 Saisons sensorielles – The Vivaldi Experience offers an immersive rediscovery of Antonio Vivaldi’s celebrated Four Seasons\, placed in their historical\, dramaturgical and sensory context. \n\nAn immersion into Vivaldi’s world\nVenice\, early 18th century. Antonio Vivaldi arrives at the Ospedale della Pietà\, an institution renowned throughout Europe for the excellence of its musical education for girls. There\, he trained an ensemble of young orphaned virtuoso musicians\, the famous figlie di coro. \nDuring concerts\, these musicians often performed behind grilles or screens\, giving rise to the poetic image of a “concert of invisible angels”. \nIt was within this unique world\, where music\, space and emotion intertwine\, that The Four Seasons were born in 1725. To accompany each concerto\, Vivaldi wrote a sonnet evoking the scenes heard in his music: birdsong\, storms\, wind\, fire and the murmurs of nature. \nReadings of the sonnets\, spatialized sound\, lighting and subtle soundscapes accompany the listening experience\, inviting the audience into the very heart of the music. \nMore than a concert\, this creation invites audiences to experience Vivaldi from within\, in a living\, poetic and deeply human musical experience. \n\nPerformers\n\nPhilippa Mo — international solo violinist\nLisa Kordic — solo flute for Winter\nMislava Mikelic — violin 1\nPille Prans — violin 2\nVanessa Kordic — viola\nChloé Hervault Triscornia — cello\n\n\nPractical information\n\nDate: Monday\, July 20\, 2026 at 9:00 PM\nVenue: courtyard of the Château de La Napoule\nDoors open: 8:15 PM\nDuration: approximately 1 hour 15 minutes\, without intermission\nSeating: unreserved seating\, no categories\nAdmission: full price €20 / under 18 €5 / under 10 free\n\nA raised stage and six speakers will provide good visibility and a high-quality listening experience for the audience. \nVisitors will be able to explore the Château gardens before the concert. \nParking: several free car parks are available in the evening\, including the large Siagne car park\, located about a 10-minute walk from the Château. \n\nBooking\nAdvance booking is recommended and must be completed online. \n Book your tickets \nTickets may be available on the evening of the concert\, subject to availability. SUMMARY:Murmures du Château - An immersive sound work by Shawn Pinchbeck
DESCRIPTION:La Napoule Art Foundation invites you to discover Murmures du Château\, an immersive sound work by Shawn Pinchbeck\, an electroacoustic music composer\, sound designer and former artist-in-residence at the Château de La Napoule. \nCreated from more than twelve hours of recordings made in and around the Château\, this 57-minute work reveals the sounds that shape the identity of the site: footsteps and voices echoing through its rooms\, doors opening and closing\, birdsong\, rustling leaves\, passing trains\, the nearby beaches and the constant presence of the Mediterranean Sea. \nRecorded using an ambisonic microphone that captures sound in 360 degrees\, the piece recreates the full depth and spatial dimension of these sound environments when experienced through headphones. Shawn Pinchbeck transforms familiar sounds\, which usually pass unnoticed\, into a sensory journey through the Château and its surrounding landscape. \nFollowing this launch event\, Murmures du Château will remain available for visitors to experience freely through headphones inside the Château during its regular opening hours. \n\nProgramme\n4:30 pm: Welcome address\nIntroduction to the event and the sound work \nPresentation of Shawn Pinchbeck\nAn introduction to the artist’s practice and the creation of Murmures du Château \nListening session featuring an excerpt from the work\nAn immersion in the soundscape of the Château \nDrinks reception\nAn informal gathering on the terraces of the Château \n\nPractical information\n\nVenue: Château de La Napoule – Avenue Henry Clews – Mandelieu-La Napoule\nDate: Sunday\, July 19\, 2026\nTime: from 4:30 pm\nAdmission: regular Château admission: €6 / €4 reduced rate\nThe presentation\, listening session and drinks reception are included in the Château admission ticket.\n\n➜ Reserve your place \n\n \nShawn Pinchbeck\n \n\nLearn more about the artist – Shawn Pinchbeck\n\nBased in Edmonton\, Canada\, Shawn Pinchbeck is an electroacoustic music composer\, sound designer and media artist. His compositions combine recorded sounds\, transformed sonic materials and electronic or synthesized elements. \nShawn Pinchbeck’s work has been presented at festivals and artistic events in more than fifteen countries. He has also composed for film\, dance and a variety of audiovisual projects. SUMMARY:Listening to the Living World - Fête de la Musique & Summer Solstice with ALIVE!
DESCRIPTION:photo: Camille Moirenc \nOn the occasion of the Fête de la Musique and the first day of summer\, La Napoule Art Foundation welcomes the association ALIVE! for a new artistic encounter at the Château de La Napoule. \nSince 2020\, ALIVE! has been creating thematic events at the Château around one central question: how can art help us reconnect with nature? \nFor this edition\, music becomes the guiding thread of a sensitive journey through the Château’s gardens and spaces. Lyric voice\, contemporary sound creation\, poetry and listening to the living world come together in a guided and participatory walk. \nWith soprano Larenka Hoareau\, composer and conductor Romina Romay\, and poet Emmanuel Fillot\, visitors are invited to experience a suspended moment\, between performance\, contemplation and participation. \n\nA musical and poetic walk\nThe journey will be punctuated by three vocal interventions by Larenka Hoareau\, whose voice will accompany visitors through different spaces of the Château and its gardens. \nEmmanuel Fillot will present a poetic intervention based on his “avectives”\, short poems inspired by the living world and birds\, conceived as a light and sensitive form of presence within the landscape. \nRomina Romay will present an excerpt from her project Romee – Her Voices\, which revisits the legacy of women composers in classical music through electronic rhythms\, contemporary sounds and inspirations drawn from nature. \nThroughout the walk\, participants will also be invited to write down a few words\, sensations or images born from their listening experience\, composing a personal trace of this collective moment. \n\nPractical information\n\nVenue: Château de La Napoule – Avenue Henry Clews – Mandelieu-La Napoule\nDate: Sunday\, June 21\, 2026\nTime: 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm\nAdmission: €6 / €4 reduced rate\nBooking: registration required\, limited number of places\n\nTickets will be available online via Eventbrite. Tickets may also be purchased on site on the day of the event\, subject to availability. \n➜ Book your ticket \n\n \n\nLearn more about the artists\n\nRomina Romay\n\n \nPhoto: © Romina Romay \n\nRomina Romay is a conductor\, composer and pianist\, originally from Buenos Aires and based in Paris. \nFor the Fête de la Musique at the Château de La Napoule\, she will present an excerpt from her project Romee – Her Voices\, which revisits the legacy of women composers in classical music through electronic rhythms\, contemporary sounds and inspirations drawn from nature. \n\nEmmanuel Fillot\n\n \nPhoto: © Emmanuel Fillot \n\nEmmanuel Fillot was born in 1957 in Tours\, France. His work is represented by Galerie Lelia Mordoch in Paris and Miami. \nHe studied art in Grenoble and Paris\, but his true education came through his encounters with poets and his interest in many non-Western cultures. He met Kenneth White\, with whom he collaborated within the framework of geopoetics. \nSince the late 1980s\, geopoetics has sought to reshape our relationship with the biosphere — a reflection that strongly resonates today with contemporary environmental issues. \nIn 2008\, Emmanuel Fillot met the poet F. J. Temple\, who would remain a travelling companion\, notably through a collaboration on an installation at the Bambouseraie d’Anduze and the publication of the artist’s book Migrations. \nHis work has always been rooted in the question of our relationship with the living world and nature\, and could be summed up by the phrase: “To take part in the passage of poetry.” \n\nLarenka Hoareau\n\n \nPhoto: © Larenka Hoareau \n\nA graduate of both the Institut d’Études Politiques in Aix-en-Provence\, where she obtained a master’s degree\, and the Musikhochschule in Cologne\, Germany\, where she trained in lyric singing\, soprano Larenka Hoareau has a singular profile. \nHer training allowed her to work with teachers such as Jean-Christophe Benoît and Rachel Yakar. She has performed a wide range of roles\, including the Young Woman in La Voix humaine\, Serpina in La Servante maîtresse\, Woglinde in Rheingold\, Adele in Die Fledermaus\, the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute\, and Musetta in La Bohème. \nShe has been conducted by Yakov Kreizberg\, Roland Boer\, Markus Bosch\, Theodor Guschlbauer\, Andreas Stoer and Peter Marx. In concert\, she has performed with Matthias Lademann and Lida Zournatsi. Today\, she is most often accompanied by Pierre Laïk\, Nathalie Lanoë or Anne Guidi.

SUMMARY:Silhouettes in Blue: A Workshop with Visual Artist Reenie Charrière
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to present Silhouettes in Blue\, a joyful and participatory workshop-meets-artist talk with visual artist Reenie Charrière\, where drawing leaves the sketchbook behind to unfold directly onto the walls of the Château. \n\nWorkshop – Silhouettes in Blue: large-scale drawing with blue masking tape\nAfter a short musical warm-up to activate the body and explore different poses\, participants are invited to create a temporary collective mural using blue masking tape\, a playful and unexpected medium that allows for all kinds of lines to be drawn directly on the walls. \nUsing provided reference images (animals\, Henry Clews’ fantastical sculptures…) or photos selected on their phones\, participants explore changes in scale by translating an image onto the surface of a wall. It is also possible to work collaboratively by tracing the outlines of a silhouette—an accessible and enjoyable way to create together\, invent a personal visual language\, and transform the space into a creative playground. \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n photo credit: Reenie Charrière\n photo credit: Reenie Charrière\n photo credit: Reenie Charrière\n \n \n \n \n\nDate: Friday\, March 13 \nTime: 4:00 PM \nDuration: 2 hours \nAudience: from 3 years old \nMaterials: provided on site \nRecommendation: please wear comfortable clothing \nAdmission: paid – registration required (limited capacity) \n➜ Register for the workshop (required) \nFees:\n€10: full rate\n€7: reduced rate*\nFree for children under 10 \nOption: you may combine the workshop with a guided tour of the Château at 3:00 PM.\nGuided Tour + Workshop package:\n€15: full rate\n€12: reduced rate*\nFree for children under 10 \n➜ Register for the 3:00 PM guided tour \n*To view the list of documents required to qualify for a reduced rate\, please consult the dedicated page on our website:\n https://www.lnaf.org/fr/visiter-le-chateau/tarifs/ \n\nPractical information\n\nLocation: Château de La Napoule – Avenue Henry Clews – 06210 Mandelieu-La Napoule\nPlease note: kindly arrive 10 minutes before the workshop begins to allow time for ticket validation\n\n \nReenie Charrière – visual artist | photo credit: Laurent Barnavon\n \n\nAbout the artist – Reenie Charrière\n\nReenie Charrière is a multidisciplinary artist who transforms discarded materials into immersive works. SUMMARY:Les Visiteurs du Soir - Meet Shawn Pinchbeck
DESCRIPTION:As part of the winter edition of the contemporary art festival Les Visiteurs du Soir (Botox(s)\, Alpes & Riviera contemporary art network)\, La Napoule Art Foundation invites the public to experience a unique moment with sound designer Shawn Pinchbeck. \nVisitors will discover Ghostly Pleasures and Aural Delight\, a participatory installation combining sound and image that reacts to the presence of the audience\, created in 2011. \nDuring his residencies at La Napoule in 2024 and 2025\, Shawn Pinchbeck captured the Château’s sonic identity — waves\, bells\, footsteps and distant voices — and transformed them into an immersive sound work that he will also share during this event. \nA discussion with the artist will provide insight into his creative process\, where field recordings\, electronic manipulation and synthetic sounds intertwine to reveal the site’s “hidden music.” \n\nAbout the festival\nThe contemporary art festival Les Visiteurs du Soir\, organized by Botox(s)\, takes place across Mougins\, Mouans-Sartoux\, Vallauris\, Cannes and Mandelieu-La Napoule. \nParticipating venues: Espace de l’art concret (Mouans-Sartoux)\, Centre de la photographie (Mougins)\, Terrail (Vallauris)\, H115 (Vallauris)\, La Napoule Art Foundation (Mandelieu-La Napoule)\, La Malmaison (Cannes)\, Le Suquet des Artistes (Cannes). \n➜ More information on botoxs.fr \n\nPractical information\n\nLocation: Château de La Napoule – Avenue Henry Clews – Mandelieu-La Napoule\nDate: Sunday\, February 22\, 2026\nTime: 10:00 AM\nAdmission: Free event (festival)\n\n➜ Visitor information & directions \n\n \nShawn Pinchbeck\n \n\nLearn more about the artist – Shawn Pinchbeck\n\nShawn Pinchbeck is a sound artist and electroacoustic composer based in Edmonton\, Canada.
