DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to present Silhouettes in Blue\, a joyful and participatory workshop-meets-artist talk with visual artist Reenie Charrière\, where drawing leaves the sketchbook behind to unfold directly onto the walls of the Château. \n\nWorkshop – Silhouettes in Blue: large-scale drawing with blue masking tape\nAfter a short musical warm-up to activate the body and explore different poses\, participants are invited to create a temporary collective mural using blue masking tape\, a playful and unexpected medium that allows for all kinds of lines to be drawn directly on the walls. \nUsing provided reference images (animals\, Henry Clews’ fantastical sculptures…) or photos selected on their phones\, participants explore changes in scale by translating an image onto the surface of a wall. Carried by the wind\, the aromas of plants\, earth and sea become subtle pathways for exploring the site in a different way. \nIn resonance with Cynthia Imogen Hammond’s exhibition\, the workshop encourages attention to the garden’s olfactory dimension—often invisible\, yet deeply evocative. The walk continues with the creation of a small scent map\, capturing the fragrant essence of the place\, followed by simple writing exercises that give words to the perceptions gathered. DESCRIPTION:About the Workshop\nAs a photographer and filmmaker\, Loeky Firet has forged a deep creative bond with the Château de la Napoule\, whose light\, volumes\, and unique atmosphere inspired part of her film Water in Fire. \n\n“This place has profoundly inspired me — through its play of light\, its structures\, and its unique atmosphere\, both inside and throughout its gardens. Part of my film Water in Fire came to life in this château\, shaped by its light and its spirit.” \n\nIn this spirit\, she invites participants to a sensorial photography workshop\, where the camera is no longer a technical instrument but a means of exploring the power of perception and awakening creativity through the senses. \nThrough sensitive and creative explorations\, participants will be invited to:– Awaken their gaze: learn to see what usually goes unnoticed.– Play with light: explore its nuances\, contrasts\, and reflections.– Discover forms and geometries: perceive the hidden harmony of lines\, volumes\, and shadows.– Refine sensory awareness: let the eyes\, ears\, touch\, smell\, and intuition guide creation. \nIn the inspiring setting of the château and its gardens\, each participant will be guided toward their own visual language — deeply personal and unique. \n\nAbout the Artist\nPhotographer and filmmaker Loeky First develops a sensitive approach where the image becomes an extension of the senses.Her work explores light\, form\, and perception.
