La Napoule Art Foundation offers Artists-In-Residence a
unique environment of interdisciplinary collaboration and
creativity at the Château de La Napoule. The Côte
d’Azur is not only one of the most picturesque areas
in France but it is also one of the most culturally vibrant.
With a high density of internationally renowned institutions
- museums, theaters, festivals, foundations and research
centers - the community of lively creators offers an inspirational
and interactive setting for the LNAF Artist-In-Residence
Program.
Each session eight Resident Artists of different nationalities
and disciplines (literature, music, design, film, visual
and performing arts) are selected by a committee of notable
art professionals. Invitations to participate in the Program
are awarded based on a record of excellence and commitment
to the arts.
In an effort to preserve Henry and Marie Clews’ lifelong
commitment to the arts, the Foundation promotes exceptional
talents - both recognized and emerging - on the international
scene, through cooperation with major organizations and
leaders in the arts worldwide.
The La Napoule Art Foundation seeks applications at two
levels: a) artists of national or international distinction,
with well-established reputations, for whom a change of
scenery might offer fresh inspiration; b) emerging artists
with a record of solid achievement and potential, for whom
an appointment as a Resident Artist might contribute to
professional advancement.
LNAF Artists In Residence Program is member or Resartis
