Visual Art: Do You See What I See? A Show Kids Can Appreciate

Through Oct. 14. “Do You See What I See?” is an art exhibit geared to kids — and it actually takes kids seriously. Set up in the halls at the Taxi development in RiNo, the show features well-regarded names in the visual-arts scene — Sandy Skoglund, Lawrence Argent, Jen Lewin — presenting works that are high on concept, but easy on perception. And, in the case of Skogland’s “Cookies on a Plate” photos or Willam Volkerz’s “Western Landscapes,” rendered in glowing neon, it’s all stuff that’s simply fun to look at. The exhibit, sponsored by La Napoule Art Foundation, is open 12-8 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. weekends. Free. In the Freight Building, 3507 Ringsby Court. 303-952-0445 or lnaf.org.
